Batıpark

Located on one of Ankara’s major commercial axes, Istanbul Road, this plot forms a continuum with the existing commercial fabric. The commercial area that was on the side of the road has been brought inside the building, and a separate commercial floor created on the upper level added diversity to the units. The architectural language of the building on the main road façade is permeable and inviting, while the back of the building has a closed structure that will allow a large volume of commerce.

The hurriedness of the project preparation and construction influenced most of the materials used. The use of sinus panels on the façade were quickly manufactured and permitted more affordable solutions.
